    UPTET official Answer Key 2018: Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board(UPBEB) conducts UPTET examination for the aspirants, wishing to become state level government teachers in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This eligibility test will be conducted in two sets as, Paper 1 i.e for classes I to V and Paper 2 i.e for classes VI to VIII. Candidates aspiring to become Primary School Teachers, will have to qualify Paper 1 and the candidates aspiring to become Upper Primary Teachers, will have to qualify Paper 2.     How to download the Answer Key of UPTET?

    • Candidate will first have to visit official website www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in
    • Click on the UPTET 2018 Answer Key link on the home page.
    • Now, the answer sheet will appear on your screen in the PDF format.
    • Candidates will be able to download UPTET Answer key 2018 for Paper 1 & Paper 2 and check the answers of the exam they wrote.

    How to use the UPTET Answer Key?

    Candidates will be able to calculate their scores by matching their marks in the answer keys as marked in their exams, after that candidate need to add the marks as per the marking scheme. The marks after adding and subtracting will be the actual score of the candidate.

    How to challenge the Answer Key?

    Candidates can challenge the answer key, as OMR answer sheet will be provided to the candidates along with the answer key. Candidates will be able to get the OMR sheet by providing Rs. 1000/- as application fee. If any candidate has any doubt or error in the answer key, they can raise objection against it. For this, candidate will have to login and submit the proof for the same.

    NOTE: Candidates must make sure that they have a valid proof before challenging the Answer Key.

    Candidates must know about some of the details in the Answer Key,

    • UPTET Answer key will be released for both the sets, Paper 1 & Paper 2
    • UPBEB publishes the answer key for UPTET.
    • Answer Key of both the sets will contain correct answers of both the sets.
    • UPTET answer keys are helpful for those candidates too who are willing to give UPTET next year.

    As per the Official Answer key, marks will be evaluated for each candidate. Candidates who score more marks then Cut off/qualifying mark will be declared qualified for Uttar Pradesh Teaching Eligibility Test.

    Cut-Off/ Qualifying Marks

    Organizing Authority has set cut-off/qualifying marks,By scoring the qualifying marks, the candidates will be considered as TET pass. The Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided school management shall consider the TET scores in the recruitment process.

    Cut-off/Qualifying Marks for the different categories as:

    Categories Qualifying Marks
    General Category 60%
    SC/ST Category 55%

    Results

    Candidate’s results are expected to be declared by the 1st week of December, 2018 on the UPTET official website only. Candidates can check their results by logging in by entering their ID and password. Candidates must save and keep a print out of the result for future purpose.Organizing Authorities has set qualification marks for the different categories, as 60% for general category candidates and 55% for SC/ST category candidates.By scoring the qualifying marks, the candidates will be considered as TET pass. The Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided school management shall consider the TET scores in the recruitment process.
